We're in this together

Let’s keep each other safe and help communities.

Stay safe

To ensure everyone’s safety, we’ve taken steps to limit face-to-face interactions.

With Donate the Change, Grubhub customers can support organizations that help restaurants and drivers.

Stay safe

Contact-free delivery

All Grubhub delivery orders are now contact-free, by default. Drivers can follow customer instructions to safely deliver orders, minimizing face-to-face interactions. Customers can also opt in for curbside pickup.

Curbside pickup

Restaurants can now enable curbside pickup on their Grubhub for Restaurants account, allowing drivers and customers to pick up orders without entering the restaurant.

Driver personal protective equipment

We’re offering delivery partners free PPE, including hand sanitizer and masks. They can order one or both every 30 days.

Visit the CDC website to learn more about food delivery safety.

Family Meals

Our data shows that, as families spend more time together, they’re ordering meals together, too. Restaurants who offer family combos are seeing increased orders and sales. Use our family meal guide to see how to update your menu and get more customer visibility.

Toolkit

Our digital marketing toolkit gives you resources to communicate with your customers across social media, email, and more, so you can let them know you’re still open and taking orders. We’ve expanded our toolkit with templates for contact-free delivery and curbside pickup.

We understand that these are difficult times for small businesses, so we have put together a list of actions your restaurant can take to be safe, help generate more orders and give your customers a better experience.

Feeding the Frontlines

Expanding our commitment to local communities, we’ve launched partnerships to ensure our healthcare workers are getting the meals they need while working around the clock. By teaming up with companies like Verizon, the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), and Hellmann’s Food Relief Fund, an extension to the Unilever ‘United for America’ initiative, we’re delivering meals via the Grubhub platform to those working on the front lines, while fueling local restaurants.
